That doesn't have to be the case anymore.
The tool consists of two parts. The first part is the large, thin stencil material with two suitable holding options. This is placed on the clockwork with the insert disc. The hole is large enough so that the insert disc does not hold the material after installation. It serves as the perfect "scratch protection". Then comes the acrylic bridge for the mother. In the first few uses it can be a little more difficult to "clamp" the nut. The reason for this is that it is easier to assemble the nut and it does not take time for it to fall out of the assembly aid.
Then screw the nut tight and the clockwork is assembled.
Dimensions:
Hole transparent thin stencils: 16mm
Thin stencil 76mm wide, 55mm high
Hole for Nut: 10.5mm x 11.5mm
Screwing aid 27.5mm wide, 50mm high
Be careful not to screw the nut too tight but also not too loosely. If it is too tight, it can affect the function of the clockwork. If it is too loose, the movement in the watch can slip and the time will no longer match.
